Hello! My name is Shelli.

I know living with cats isn't always a party but with some education on kitty basics and the right tools it sure can be!
Cats are complex animals and are often misunderstood, or thought of as similar to dogs in behavior (wrong). However cats have specific needs that can easily be met with the right (sometimes quite minor) lifestyle modifications.

My heart breaks when cats are surrendered, re-homed, turned out to the streets or worse, euthanized because of behavioral problems. I personally needed to learn more about feline behavior due to agression issues in my own home and that led me to gettting certified so I could help cats before their guardians gave up on them. I never want to see another cat needlessly lose its home or its life due to being misunderstood.
House-soiling, aggression, fear, excessive meowing, overgrooming, and scratching furniture or people are all behavior issues that I can help with, not getting along with other people or pets - these kinds of behaviors can be resolved with a little patience and understanding of why cats need what they need and do what they do. That’s why I do what I do...
I know there is a way to resolve or manage many of the problems you may be experiencing with your cat. I am confident that with my insight, positive reinforcement techniques, environmental enrichment, and your help, we can work on a solution.
